If it does get worse

we're so totally screwed it doesn't matter any more.

It's a cliche, and I don't really believe it, but there is something about the "luck evens out over a season" thing that at least gives me hope the injuries will get better rather than worse.

We're going to be a team that relies on 3-2 or 2-1 wins regardless. We don't have many clean sheets in us.
