I know they keep saying it has nothing to do with it but I find it hard to believe that there is not some sort of link between how hard they are/were worked in pre-season and some of these injuries. it may not be the direct cause but surely it can leave you more susceptible to picking up injuries of you are worn down?
Every week we seem to have 3 or 4 more picking up knocks in training, even if they seem to manage to play with their knocks quite often.
