clearly fantastical bulls**t

the pole vault is essentially all about height. as far as i know, give or take tidal ranges, jumping rivers or bodies of water would be all about distance and not height as no f**ker would be jumping from land beneath a miraculously raised bed of water onto lower ground on the other side.
