maybe they trust the NI govt more than the UK Govt?

given the clear mandate for remain in NI, they're never going to vote to terminate a backstop, especially when they see UK Plc setting up more and more operations in Belfast.

Offers the tantalising prospect that if they can agree this for Goods, then maybe they'll do something similar for services.
