Well it may have gone over. I've not actually seen it but in my book if a

player sticks their arms up above their head and those arms (whichever part of them) block a cross inside the penalty area then that is a penalty. In real time it seemed really obvious that the guy had his arms upstretched above his head.

I would therefore really like to see a replay of it to understand better why VAR did not see fit to intervene and it seems very strange that the incident does not make it into any set of highlights of the game given that (in the ground at least) it was a big talking point.

Clearly the ref felt differently but since he was a massively home biased little c**t who bought a lot of their diving around and acting then that's not surprising and given how they are doing VAR to get that penalty decision overturned the player would have to have caught the ball and dribbled it harlem globetrotter style across the six yard box before slam dunking it on Pukki's head.
