The side on view looks like a no to me

Amadou actually slips over and the guy tries to go over his legs after he is on the floor.

Based on current usage, there was no way VAR was going to overturn it though. It's close enough for the ref to give it.

The handball should also have been a pen. His arm is raised up over his head to block, so it hits him in the armpit and goes out rather than the shoulder and into the box.
