I think that’s basically the only way to reliably beat us - not that I think we can’t lose other ways as well - but I genuinely think that on our day we can match any other team with possession and attacking. We *can* also defend, but when attacking we do suffer counter attacks, which is risky. However Burnley’s plan, relying on taking an early chance before we’ve settled and also taking advantage of set situations, then frustrating us with a deep block, can be really effective.

That corner, they didn’t manage to repeat once in the game despite numerous attempts. It’s obvious also that we won’t be first to the ball every single time. The slack play wasn’t in the marking, it’s the ease with which Burnley could create the set play opportunities.
