Yes this system is much better

At the end of the day the ref has to trust his lino to make calls on things he didnt see, and he has to trust the VAR to make calls on things he has made a mistake about.

Presumably he akways has the right to overrule VAR if he is adamant he got it right, but it comes down to trust.
