Anyone ever had a recently put in tooth filling come out? If so, what was your dentists

response?

I had an old large filling which had to be replaced 6 weeks ago at a cost of about £250 but it came out on Friday.

When he put it in, he said it was a large filling and in time I would need a crown.....I didn't think it would be as soon as this though.

I have an appointment tomorrow and am assuming he'll say I will now need a crown. Looking at their website the cost is £565 ffs. Should I be expecting him to reduce this by the price of the filling which didn't work?
