We cannot lose today

If we, well, lose today: it's what everyone and his aunt would expect. As long as it's not a cricket score which gives the youngsters confidence issues it's OK. Even 3-0 or 4-0 is probably OK, but 3-1 or 4-1 much better

If we don't lose today: f**king hell what a result.

These are the games you come up for. Almost all of them you lose. But not quite all of them.

And our season really starts with the following game. We're still in touch after a hard start. Easier games to come which will determine if we are likely to stay up or not.

And even if we don't stay up we'll start next season in the Champs, a better league, in better shape than we started last season, even if we lose quite a lot of our talent. We won't lose quite all of it and the cash will be spent wisely (I really believe that).

No I haven't been drinking this early but it's a get-behind-the-boys sitch-u-ation for me today, Clive.
