Yes although not sure they had much choice given the reaction and

the apology is mainly for not consulting with the fans, not for actually bringing in the scheme to monetise the away memberships. That seems to have evolved a little now into an acknowledgement that they've got quite a lot wrong with the scheme.

Kensell said they started looking at it in November along with considering the ST prices etc although I find it quite hard to believe that they thought this scheme would be a success in the championship. That said perhaps it would have been easier to introduce in the championship and the numbers would have been a lot lower and the same kind of supply and demand issues would not have arisen.
