Michael Gove said you had to teach history chronologically so my class

of seven year olds learn about late Neolithic hunter gatherers and the oldest primary kids get up to 1066. You can also do a theme of local history beyond that which might include a bit of more modern stuff but basically all the nice Tudor/Victorian/WW2 stuff is out!
