An unwritten constitution just means 'not by writ'

Ie, not just legislation. It doesn't mean there are no written rules (see eg Dicey)

Which makes it more fluid than most (for better or for worse) and massively tedious to study.

But at least we dont have to work out what a particularly badly worded and punctuated amendment might mean.
