Of course Mount gets straight on the pitch after 2 vaguely decent premier league games.

Barclay is allowed to cement a place by strolling around looking (admittedly) half decent against incredibly poor sides.

Sancho (don’t get what the fuss is about) gets called up and given a run out at the first opportunity. Ditto that other Chelsea winger whose name escapes me.

Yet Madders can’t get a sniff, even when we are 3 up and coasting against Bulgaria.

Southgate is doing a reasonable job but he’s a bit thick and tactically poor. We roll over all the teams we should but against anyone decent the midfield will get shown up again.
