I said I’d reserve judgment until after the West Ham game...

if We win a game away from home this season, with this set up I’ll be absolutely amazed.

Stipermann and buendia don’t do enough without the ball, they leave too much space in behind them as they fail to track back. Trybull and Leitner between them still fail to cover the full backs forward runs, and while on that subject them two are far too lightweight as a pairing. Absolute joke to expect to go away to West Ham as physical as they are expecting them two to be able to compete

We’re missing Hernandez and his pace and I wonder if max Aaron’s can play a more advanced role with byrams in at right back. Extra physicality and height at the back. Aaron’s has proved to be composed enough to play a more advanced role. Just food for thought.

Amadou is not a centre half, he looked lost a fair few times and If he has to play there for a period of time we’re going to struggle.

I don’t care how many times Farke bangs on about sticking to his “believings” he has to adapt or this is going to be a along hard season. We can play good football and not be so poor moving backwards. No one is capable of tracking a run from midfield or doing the ugly side of the game.

A team with Leitner, Trybull, steipermann, and beundia in isn’t going to win enough games of football at this level. We’re getting bullied out there.
