Klose - generally

To follow up a point made during last night's game, I fear that we'll not get much more value out of Klose - even if/ when he gets back to full fitness.

At the end of his first season he admitted that he'd thought, as a Swiss international, the second tier of English football was going to be a piece of cake for him - and that its speed and physicality had come as a shock to him. There's no denying his skill on the ball, and how useful he is at going up for us at corners, but he's such a stick-insect of a guy, that I fear he'll just never avoid picking up injuries if he carries on in England. Worse still, even if he fully recovers from this latest setback, opponents are going to know that he seems easy to "crock" - and they'll just be told, early on, to go in on him very hard or very dirty, which should bring his afternoon to an end in first 15 mins. We paid a lot of money for him so I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I see happening.
