Back from the game; we huffed and we puffed...

But, ultimately no one could land a final blow and we ended scoreless for the first time since Hull away at the back end of November.

Whilst we attempted to play Farke-ball, it never really came off and whilst there was plenty of effort, scant reward in the final third.

We opened brightly and seemed to rely on balls out wide and deep to the left wing. This brought early success but the final ball in wasn't quite there or a final shot was saved.

Crawley were strong and well organised, goal came following a half cleared chance which was then drilled in of Idah's shin.

Crunching challenge by Klose left him injured and the way he limped round and his he was holding his knee looked bad (possibly a hyper extension which can tear a cruciate!)

Godfrey looked fine when he came on and when Buendia appeared we looked a little more like making a solid chance but nothing would fall right... one of those nights!

Aaron's managed to get a couple of balls in during his 5 minute cameo but to no avail.

Whilst no one had a bad game, it did look like they were all learning to play together.

Well done Crawley, we can concentrate on the league!!

That's 3 visits to that stadium and 3 defeats... 2 x City U23 v Brighton and tonight! Maybe I'll get the full set in the EFL Trophy game later in the year!!
