Well I'm not happy.....

a) The League Cup was the only chance for the squad players to both justify and maybe improve their standing and also get game time in the next 4 months. They are either not good enough or (more likely) assumed tonight was a 'shoo in' and could not or would not motivate themselves to pull a finger out. That's worse if so
b) We have a history in this competition which we don't in the FA Cup. I've seen us in 3 finals - can write off 2020 then.
c) As others have said the lack of centre back cover is worrying and injuries to Timm and maybe Zimbo compounds this
d) Need the money. Probably budgeted to reach round 4
e) Scum will love it (fair enough)
f) Psychologically it ain't good. Winning breeds winning. Losing breeds.....and West Ham and Man City will be licking their lips
g) Already getting texts from friends taking the piss
h) Can't think of h
Still not happy....
