Frustrating.

Too many round pegs in square holes. The players just weren’t used to playing together, didn’t have the necessary understanding for our style.

Final balls into the box were a mix of terrible and to areas where our strikers weren’t.

Difficult to comment on individual performances. No one stood out. Emi is class. I wouldn’t write anyone off, but Srbeny and Idah aren’t going to scare premier league defences on that showing. In idah’s defence though, he will be better when there’s space for him to run into.

Well done Crawley. Organised performance, we weren’t good enough to beat them. We really should have been though.
