To not take advantage of Smith not playing is a missed opportunity

Ashes lost today. Bowling has been fine but the batting has been worse than bad. Too many different formats being played. The whole approach is T20 , hit everything . That’s just not how Test Match Cricket should be played.
We all loved the World Cup but The Ashes is the cream- it’s the best , most complex form of any sport- even, dare u say it, better than football.
