its not just batting though is it

it's whoever is responsible for mentality, tactics, team selection, whoever is mentoring Root as captain etc. Can't just all be down to Ramps and Bayliss (or if it is, then whoever is leaving it to just 2 people needs to be sacked).

and then wider it's whoever is responsible for lack of practice matches, the prioritisation of the short form game domestically (I know, I know -£££)

Alternatively we just sack off Test cricket and focus on what we seem to be good at and what makes everyone lots of money.
