well, I've gone nuts at plenty of goals only to see or be pointed to the offside flag or the ref calling a foul several seconds later. Speed up VAR and that isn't much different, in my view. Yes, more reasons for it to be disallowed but not massively different.

Also, one of the games, maybe Old Trafford last weekend, there was a clear audible message over the tannoy - VAR check in progress - VAR check complete - that was pretty clear, even without a big screen - seems an easy solution - might be distracting for the players I suppose but at least people know what is going on. Can't complain the supporters don't know and then keep the players in the dark.
