Wanted to play 4-5-1 to beef up midfield.

Therefore only one striker. Which clearly can't be Earnie.

If he had played 4-4-2 and we had been overrun in midfield, you'd have blubbed about that instead.

It was a good performance on Saturday (first in 'kin ages).
