Interesting quote there in light of the coach driver supposedly buying 48 tickets for

west ham.

"Someone had tickets for sale and wanted £70, so I bought one. We went up on the coach."

If I were a betting man I would say some private coach operators have paid out for large numbers of memberships in different names and are buying a coach load of tickets at a time to sell on.
