Anyone else noticed that Dick Dastardly and Rick Astley have suspiciously similar names?

Mutley always refers to Dick Dastardly as "Rick". Taking this into account, If you anagram one name into the other, the left over letters spell "D date", short for "Delivery Date", referring to the fact that Rick Astley was born on the 6th Feb 1966, the very same day that Dastardly first appear on US TV when the first episode of The Wacky Races was ever aired. COINCIDENCE? OR SOMETHING MORE SINISTER?
