Interesting listening to the radio last couple of days that the general consensus

Amongst so called pundits is that Villa did well at Spurs and will be fine whereas we will go down!

I accept that if we defend like that every game we are likely to go down but similarly if Villa spend 90% of every game defending with ten men behind the ball and still concede three then so will they.

Echoes of that article someone linked to on here yesterday really. People using the first game results to affirm their prior opinions without actually looking at the finer detail of how the matches went.
