Maybe, maybe not...
Once thing we can never know is how much Liverpool slackened off in the second half since they already had the game in the bag. I suspect it's possible that if we had been level or ahead at halftime we'd have faced an onslaught and barely have had an attack in the second half (like Villa).
Saturday will probably tell us a lot more.
