A second tier team from an email by saying something like, I have no interest in lesser rate football and have no idea why i should.

More surprising which followed, Tim Vickery agreed(even though that doesn't make sense because he knows s**tloads about footballers.

My problem with Gleesons comment is he's on to prattle on about African football. By his logic, why would i even give a s**t about 4th rate players and leagues, never mind second rate?

Im guessing because in Africa he gets paid a lot to give a s**t about 4th rate football, but thinks The Championship etc is irrelevant.

In short they just like being paid and will naturally have zero knowledge about promoted teams, and won't care eithrr.
