Is he in last year of contract?

Or still 2 years left? Seem to be conflicting reports.

If the former, I reckon he would be happy to sit tight until January if we can get him for next to nothing then. He won't get another contract on his current wages and that includes from us - we already know he took some sort of cut to come here last year - that was quoted a few times, although no idea how that actually worked.

He wants to come, knows the wage structure her already I suspect and willing to fit into it. I think we will wait it out and get him for very little, either late tomorrow, or January.
