I doubt it too but I feel we do have that kind of money if we think the player is going to

develop and generate a big net profit (and contribute to the short term success of course).

We are not skint. We just can’t afford to spend money when we’re not extremely confident of it working out. Probably only a handful of young players around the world that our scouts out in that category and probably most of them are out of our range or unavailable. There may be a list of “splash cash if there’s ever a chance of this one”
