I keep swinging like a Newton's cradle on this one

Start - no one expects us to do anything so let's get the bad result ticked off and focus our season on the winnables.
Next - but you know, if you're going to surprise a team like Liverpool, it's more likely to be in the first match
Then - the worst thing that can happen is that we play well, get beaten and every one says 'play like that and you'll be ok' because that seldom happens. I don't want this to be a season of worthy defeats (not that Worthy)
Back to the beginning - maybe just hope that we get beaten but no one thinks any the worse, because well Arsenal last season. And they only lost one game. Won't just be us.

Summary - I expect we'll lose, I'm more worried about what that will do to the rest. Anyway if we do lose, my main wish is that Spurs tonk Villa to shut the cocky sods up.
