I can't be arsed to google but it would be interesting to know whether the 'international' requirement for non-EU players was a UK thing or an EU thing.

ie will we now see a general relaxation of visa rules for footballers such that we can start mining Africa and S America for our future talent instead of just Europe?

That would be an amazing outcome for a club like us that will be reliant on polishing up rough diamonds.
