flip side is that

more of them 'are' making it to a point where they are getting a good enough income that 'should'* give them a much bigger head start in life than their smarts and backgrounds would otherwise have given them.

(*assuming they are smart enough to think that way, which admittedly a great number wont. this is where the clubs have a massive duty of care IMO)
