In particular that our outflows would massively exceeded income absent a player sale when parachute payments came to an end.

However, our playing budget was much, much bigger than theirs. Albeit wasted on the likes of Nelson, Jarvis, Naismith, Jerome, those were players that would have improved Ipswich’s first team.
