I think we as fans look on it in a different light.
To him it's a 'job', many examples of players who fall out of love with the game , bet he's one.
Made it to the very top , but now injury and a love of golf appeals more.
Why shouldn't he sit out his contact?

As fans we want it all. Player sits out his contact and he's wasting his career, doing it for the money. honouring his contract is never mentioned

Player wants to leave.. shock, no loyalty, only moving for the money , turn coat.

I know what I would do in his golfing shoes....
