Yes there is the odd exception out there but not many for top flight clubs.

if our model means we cannot pay the going rate (as I think the consensus appears to be both in terms of fees and wages) then it just shows how difficult it’s going to be for us.

I happen to think £10m for this player or £20m for Webster are ridiculous but that’s the market now and whilst we have been able to exploit other foreign markets well they are catching up.
