I agree. I've never advocated making too many signings or doing what Villa are doing

I might do (a bit more but not to the same extent as I don't think we need as many new players as them) if we had wealthy owners or fresh investment but our owners have made sure that will not be the case.

I just feel that we are one signing short in that key defensive midfield area. It may not be fatal to us (Trybull was very good on Saturday and Tettey may have a renaissance) but I would prefer to see it covered with a quality recruit and I worry that it won't be because of budgetary constraints.

Maybe we will get another loan or free signing in though.
