He'd have been an option.On a Warwickshire note,I do like Sam Hain,alot of people say Root should bat at 3,if he wasn't skipper I might agree,but having batted there abit (and captained),I preferred going in at 4.There's so much going on in your mind as a captain before the start of any innings you don't get time to concentrate on your own game,on how you will play certain bowlers,,what shots you aren't going to play,when to leave,especially so if you're developing faults in your game.wgich can happen to anyone.
