never experienced anything like it at ours

constant lightning flashes overhead every couple of seconds, super bright, for however long it was, but no visible lightning streaks or audible thunder at all until the v end where you could just hear a distant low & constant rumble.

But ideot me did leave the car window open so a rather wet bottom on the drive to work this morning :-/
