The tanker situation seems to me to be the UK implementing EU sanctions but getting no assistance from the EU and no assistance from the US.

Is that linked to brexit? If we had left we would tell the EU to implement their own sanctions. We haven't left so should we hope for the EU to assist?

Today we metaphorically moved 3500 miles west. An end to UK/EU integration and a increase in UK/US ties.
