I’d say it’s as simple as that he is in that group at practice. They will break the player

s into groups and have different “stations”. Each group of 5 or so will be doing one drill while the other groups are doing others. It’s sometimes called a circuit or just stations. The Americans used to call it the “county fair”. This is keeps the tempo high (especially in pre season), gives the players as many reps as possible and maintains focus by avoiding them standing around waiting for their turn.
