Compared to Villa, Stoke & West Brom; yes, peanuts.
Compared to 1p5, Rothers & PNE; we were moneybags.

IMO spending 50% of turnover on playing staff seems a reasonable sum.

Of course had we finished midtable then the cry would have been that we were not spending enough on wages and that a change of Ownership was necessary.
