It's certainly doing its best to be impartial

I think what does happen is that inevitably its most influential employees are drawn from quite a narrow cultural and political band, and that affects the way they approach things.
Last night's Panorama was very disturbing indeed. One can be very sympathetic to all sorts of Labour's policies (whether current or not) but under Corbyn/Momentum there is no doubt (in my mind) that it's become an extremely unpleasant institution, which if not outright racist/anti-Semitic in its public pronouncements, certainly harbours/protects many people with those views. Until it deals with this problem (which it won't, because it's so deeply rooted in the British Left's worldview) it has not a shred of moral authority.
