I think the constant barrage of betting ads on TV

is far more damaging than a shirt sponsor.

Not sure seeing a betting ad on a shirt is going to get people addicted. After a while no-one even notices the logo.

Young people watching football on Sky or BT and seeing wall-to-wall betting ads is far more likely to get them to gamble.
