6,000 away memberships. Blimey.

Question is how many of those were slightly panicked applications by people who won’t actually end up going to many games at all. Or alternatively tells you that there’s going to be enormous bun-fights for loads of away games. With lots of people who’ve paid £50 still missing out every time they try.

Am sure there’s some of the former. But have to say, when I read all those messages on here saying “Away tickets will still end up going on general sale, relax”, it didn’t feel likely then, and it feels even less likely now.
