Yes there was a decline following injury. Lead to his early retirement from the game, but that injury happened well after his NCFC time. He was a fantastic player 40 years ago and well justified his £1 million price tag (massive at the time) and subsequent England cap. From my era at Carra Rd in the 70's he along with Graham Paddon, Colin Suggett, Ted MacDougall and Phil Boyer were some of the very best ever to pull on the yellow shirt. Time and a place.

I'd moved away from.Norwich well before Huckerby ever played for us. Never saw him live. Everytime I went to an away game he was injured and missed it!
