Just reading the Heise article on pinkun. Looks like he's there to provide some backup for Lewis and a different tactic on the left wing for hernandez.
I'm feeling more relaxed this transfer window because we've been strengthening and planning around the squad for a couple of years. It might not all work out, but it feels far less knee jerk than we've had in previous promotions.
I'm also pleased to see us hoovering up lots of promising guys for the u23s, as that's the age we can afford quality, not a couple of years later (when they hopefully will hit the 10-15mil mark).
Although there's been a lot of talk about the new approach, I guess it harks back to the late 80s early 90s when we brought on lots of players who hadn't made it at Tottenham and the like.
