Given his age and the fact that he's still untested at Prem level...

I doubt they'd offer him enough more to make it worth his while to uproot and move to a team with a totally different playing style. If he has a shot at making an impact on the Premier League this late in his career his best shot is with us, where he is already well integrated into the team.
This seems like the sort of story agents put about when they have a client whose contract is up for negotiation...
