the answer isn't traffic lights nor roundabouts; it is, flyover interchanges. this is something albania (did he just say albania? yes, he did) did when they built their new expressway as they realised the economic benefit of premium traffic flow. they fund it through manned and e-tolls. not saying we should introduce tolls as we fund our infrastructure differently. just wanted to point this out before someone comes on and says flyover interchanges are hideously expensive. yes they are short term but the long term benefits to the region would outweigh this in my opinion. f**k me this country is f**king backward, f**kun traffic lights 😳

you can't get decent haddock and chips in albania though and they s**t into holes in the floor so musn't grumble too much.
