Some heavier tracks, others a little more like his classic Roy Orbison vibe. As usual plenty of earworms amongst the songs.

Along with my mum and dad (who, bizarrely, was Hawley’s sixth form tutor at Firth Park School in the early 80s) I went to see his musical at the Crucible earlier in the year. Three of the songs on Further were debuted in that so now I can’t hear them without thinking of the show.
